Be a Good Community Member

Follow our Code of Conduct, read our Community Guidelines. Generally, be nice to other members, our staff, and any guests.

Nature of Agreement

This agreement is a licence to occupy and does not create a tenancy, lease, or any other interest in land. The member is granted a non-exclusive right to use the shared workspace facilities only. No part of the premises is assigned exclusively to the member, and the member acknowledges that they do not have, and will not acquire, exclusive possession of any part of the premises. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as creating a landlord and tenant relationship between the parties.

Liability

The operator accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to the member's personal property, equipment, or belongings brought onto or left at the premises. Members are advised to ensure they hold adequate insurance to cover their own property and equipment. The operator's liability for any claim arising under or in connection with this agreement shall in any event be limited to the fees paid by the member in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this clause shall limit the operator's liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence.

Insurance

Members are strongly recommended to hold appropriate business insurance, including cover for their own equipment and public liability, for the duration of their membership. The operator holds insurance in respect of the premises but this does not extend to cover members' property or business activities.

Data Protection

The operator will process personal data provided by the member in accordance with its Privacy Notice and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as retained in Irish law and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. Personal data will be used for the purposes of administering membership, managing access to the premises, and communicating with members regarding their membership. Members have the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of their personal data by contacting the operator directly.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts in respect of any dispute arising under or in connection with this agreement.
